What Do New Ski Boots Cost?

A Message from Our Boot Fitters

You may not love this answer, but the truth is it depends, until we’ve had the opportunity to assess your feet, it’s difficult to determine how much adjustment will be needed to achieve an ideal, comfortable fit. Some skiers have feet that align closely with standard boot shapes and can ski comfortably right out of the box. Others have more unique foot anatomy that requires a higher level of customization to achieve the right fit and performance.

What we can tell you is that our boot prices are consistent with industry standards. Once we’ve evaluated your feet and discussed your skiing style, we’ll recommend the models best suited to you. If we have a suitable boot from a prior season available in your size, we’ll be sure to include those options as well, they’re always priced to move.

As a general range, skiers with straightforward fits and standard insoles typically spend around $650 plus tax, while those requiring more advanced customization and newer models may invest upwards of $1,500.

Ultimately, once we’ve assessed your feet and goals, we’ll outline the best path forward. In our experience, when we let your feet guide the process, you always end up with a fit that performs beautifully on snow.

On average, a full custom fitting session takes approximately 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on your foot shape, skiing level and whether you need custom insoles or shell modifications.

Because boots transfer your movements to the skis, a poor fit can cause discomfort, reduced performance or even injury. A proper fit ensures comfort, control and safety on the slopes.

We work with all major brands and models — whether you bought your boots here or elsewhere, we can fine-tune them to fit your feet perfectly.

That’s very common! Simply make an appointment for your adjustments, bring them back after a few ski days and we’ll make small tweaks to fine-tune your fit.

Yes! We have tons of tricks, from heated liners and custom footbeds to fit adjustments that improve blood flow. Warm, happy feet make better turns.
